With the central midfield area a supposed weakness in the Arsenal squad, many fans in this boozy Transfer Tavern are finding the story coming in from Metro frustrating and confusing alike.
Gedion Zelalem, an 18-year old midfielder, who has been on the books of the Gunners for sometime, is currently out on loan at Scottish Championship giants, Rangers.
Metro are reporting that during his time there so far his manager and growing fan base have been heaping praise of the talents of the teenager, who was born in Berlin in Germany but also holds Ethiopian nationality.
Our Landlord here in the Transfer Tavern had this to say: “I am not so sure why he is up there in Scotland, he might be getting game time but why not give it to him at Arsenal? He looks class, he could be the next Vieira in my opinion!”
That is certainly some praise from our landlord here in the Tavern, and a number of Gooners by the pool table completely agree and feel he could have a big future in north London!
What do you think Arsenal fans? Should you recall him? Let us know your thoughts and opinions below!
