The £12.75m-rated forward who can inspire Spurs in the 17/18 season

Spurs will be heading into the summer in good spirits, although those spirits could have been even higher had Chelsea not ran away with the league title, leaving Mauricio Pochettino’s men to settle for 2nd again.

Falling just short though will no doubt spark some thoughts in the managers head about the upcoming summer transfer window, and with another Champions League campaign on the horizon, Pochettino will know he needs to add some more quality to his ranks.

Our landlord has spent a good chunk of his time this week speaking with the Spurs fans over by the far end of the bar, and they are all in agreement that some more attacking talent wouldn’t go amiss to boost their chances further next year.

One man who has been mentioned by the landlord and caused heads to turn is Ajax star Davy Klaassen, who is currently valued at £12.75m on Transfermarkt.

Klaassen has been a key part of a resurgent Ajax side this year, a side who have reached the Europa League final, and his 14 goals and 10 assists have shot him into the limelight among Europe’s top clubs.

With Vincent Janssen looking like an expensive failure, Spurs should be in the market for more firepower, and Klaassen could be the ideal man. Comfortable as either a number 10 or in the striking role on his own or in a two, Klaassen would no doubt bring goals with him and provide Harry Kane with plenty of help up top.

Spurs fans, what do you think? Would you take Klaassen? Let us know in the comments!
