The £21m-rated Ligue 1 star that could hold the key to Manchester United’s Premier League future next season

There’s a huge season on the horizon for Manchester United and manager Jose Mourinho, who is under huge pressure to deliver results next time out.

The Red Devils brought home the League Cup and Europa League last season but their disappointing league placing has caused some concern amongst the United fans here in the tavern.

The loss of Zlatan Ibrahimovic will hit them hard next season and there is a huge onus on the Portuguese boss to bring in a wealth of talent in the very near future.

But there’s one man we think would be a cracking fit at Old Trafford if he were to sign a deal and that’s £21million-rated utility man Fabinho.

The Monaco star, who has seriously risen to fame over the past few months, has been tipped as one of the most consistent performers in Europe in recent weeks and there’s been reports linking him with a move to Old Trafford.

And there’s plenty of reasoning behind the hype behind Fabinho and we think he’s a player that could slot into a deep-lying midfield role with ease next season if he did make the move.

He’s been utilised as a right-back more often than not but he has played in midfield on occasions this season and shone and we think this is an area United need to improve as well as their striking ranks.

Fabinho is just 23-years-old and has years ahead of him at the top level. Of course, there’s every chance he could remain at Monaco this summer and do well but if he’s to seriously step up and take his career to the next level, a move to United wouldn’t be a bad thing in the slightest.

United fans- do you want to see Fabinho move to the club this summer? Leave your thoughts down below!
