The £7million-rated Premier League forward Spurs must sign to help Kane and lead a title charge next season

Spurs will be looking to make a strong start to the upcoming Premier League campaign as they aim to better their second placed finish last time out.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have been making waves in the league over the past two seasons but despite their improvement’s, there still hasn’t been any silverware to show for it.

But there’s hope amongst the Spurs faithful here in the bar that next season could be even better as Pochettino looks to finally bring silverware to North London.

And here in the Tavern, there’s one player that Spurs supporters seem to like in unison and there’s a particularly big group of them calling for the gaffer to make a move for his services this summer.

The man in question? Bournemouth’s £7million-rated striker Josh King.

The Norweigen international has recently been linked with a move to Spurs after the Cherries completed the signing of Jermaine Defoe from relegated Sunderland.

But King is finally beginning to show the form that suggests why he was so highly rated during his early days with Manchester United and 16 goals last season was extremely good going indeed.

Of course, the step up again is going to be huge but the pacy forward is showing the movement, goal-getting ability and promise that suggests he might be able to not only fit in at Spurs, but also help Harry Kane out at the top of the pitch too.

The pressure on Kane’s shoulders seems to increase season-after-season and the signing of a man that can score goals and make things happen would be extremely useful indeed.

Spurs fans- would King be a decent signing over the coming weeks? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
