Arsenal’s season has picked up beyond expecation this season as manager Unai Emery makes a big impression on procedings at the Emirates.
The Gunners look to be on their to having an element of success this term, and whether that be in the league or one of the cups, there is plenty to be positive about for the Londoners and their new manager.
The squad is looking well balanced and there is plenty to shout home about for a number of players in the Gunners’ ranks, but there are also a few players who could well seek to move away from the club, and we at the Tavern think we have identified a couple of those players.
One player in particular we think should look to move on is striker Danny Welbeck, who despite being in and around the squad, is not getting the sort of minutes a player like Welbeck will want.
He is not without his qualities though, and there are plenty of Premier League clubs who would no doubt take a punt on the former Manchester United man.
Welbeck has always had a decent scoring record, and he is still young enough to offer plenty to another club who is willing to take a punt on him.
Blessed with searing pace, good in front of goal, and with plenty of experience under his belt, Welbeck would be a superb addition for a host of clubs should he decide to leave the club.
Arsenal fans, what do you think? Would you move Welbeck on? Let us know in the comments!
