The best Liverpool goals of 2013/14 so far

Suarez v Norwich City - 1 It seems that Liverpool fans are only getting more excited as the weeks go on, here in the Football Transfer Tavern.

Whilst many regard them as the clear outsiders in the Premier League title race, Brendan Rodgers men continue to display form that is making perhaps even the most cynical Liverpool fan dare to dream.

Yesterday’s 6-3 win at Cardiff City was yet another fantastic attacking performance, the sort of which we have become accustomed to seeing from the Reds week in, week out.

They have now hit a staggering 82 Premier League goals this season, and still have another eight matches to play.

Luis Suarez bagged himself his third hat trick of the season yesterday, to take his tally in the Premier League to 28, and equal Robbie Fowler’s Premier League record for the club.

Meanwhile Daniel Sturridge has been busy making up the other half of Britain’s most feared strike force, and bagged another goal yesterday to take his tally to the season in the Premier League to 19.

Even Martin Skrtel popped up with another brace yesterday to take his tally to the season to 6 – more than Fernando Torres and Juan Mata have managed in the Premier League this season, combined.

But of all Liverpool’s goals, which have been the five best in what is fast becoming an unforgettable season for the Merseysiders?
