Arsenal fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are still on somewhat of a high after their strong end to the season and are still looking for reasons to keep the celebrations going.
One way they’ve been keeping the party going is through the performances of their heroes on international duty. Last week striker Olivier Giroud bagged a hat-trick and followed his treble up with a fine goal against Sweden last night.
Furthermore, star man Alexis Sanchez picked up an assist after just a minute after being introduced against Russia to keep his form going into the summer break.
Adding to the fine performances of both Giroud and Sanchez, midfielder Granit Xhaka joined in on the party with a cracking goal in a 2-0 win over the Faroe Islands.
The £29.75m-rated man, who arrived at Arsenal last summer, played a neat one-two on the edge of the area before slipping between two opponents and firing home a smart finish. Take a look below…

Just seen Xhaka’s goal as I don’t watch international football. He’s the best we’ve ever seen.
