The Brazilian forward who could become the next Neymar under Guardiola at City

It’s been a tough first season for new Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who has had a real learning curve in his first campaign at the club.

The former Barcelona coach has had quite the education during his first spell in England but he’s secured his side Champions League football for next season, which can only be seen as a positive going forward.

But key to his future plans will be the development of some of the young players currently on the books at the club right now. And perhaps the most talented of all of those right now is Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus, who is amongst the most promising individuals in the world

He’s even managed to keep Sergio Aguero out of the first-team in recent weeks, which is a real credit to his talent going forward.

Jesus is quick, reads the game well, knows where the goal is and is versatile. Whilst we’ve seen him play out-wide and upfront, it’s the variety of goals we’ve seen from him that has impressed most.

He’s scored with both feet, his head and from all over the pitch. It’s all points to a player that has the potential to do great things if they continue to give him the chance in the forward line next season.

The Brazilian has been fast-tracked into the City first-team after impressing the bosses and whilst he hasn’t had much time to settle into life in England, he’s picking up the game well and has adapted to the physicality needed to play at this level.

We could be looking at a potential Brazilian superstar that one day, might be as good, if not better than Neymar.

City fans- do you hold hope for Jesus at the Etihad? Leave your thoughts down below!
