Arsenal

The classy young forward who can follow in the footsteps of Dennis Bergkamp at Arsenal

Arsenal are trundling along nicely in the Premier League this season and remain firmly in contention for a top four spot, despite seeing their chances of winning the title all but evaporate before the Christmas period.

The likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez appear to be nearing their best form, and Gunners manager Arsene Wenger deserves credit once again for riding a storm of rumours over the summer and keeping his team’s head firmly in the game.

Our landlord has been impressed with the Gunners, but he still thinks there’s room for improvement, and one of his all time favourite Arsenal players was Dennis Bergkamp, someone he thinks the club have never got anywhere near to replacing.

However, he thinks that over in Holland a new superstar is in the making in the form of Ajax youngster Justin Kluivert, who has been putting in some sensational performances of late to really raise his stock in world football.

Just 18 years of age, the youngster – whose Dad is former Dutch legend Patrick Kluivert – already has five goals to his name in just the 11 games, and some of those five have been spectacular strikes to say the least.

With Arsenal renowned for developing and nurturing young talent, a move to the Emirates could be just what Kluivert needs if he is to take his career to the next level, and manager Wenger would no doubt love to work with a talent like Kluivert.

A cracking young player, the young forward will no doubt be at the top of plenty of clubs’ shopping lists this winter.
