The flying Spurs forward who’d make a cracking addition to Newcastle’s starting XI next season

It’s set to be a busy summer for Rafa Benitez and Newcastle United, who will be preparing for a huge season back in the Premier League.

After securing the Championship title at the first attempt, the Magpies are on their way back to the big-time and will want to ensure they remain there for years to come.

But there’s going to need to be some improvements made to the squad over the coming months if they’re to have enough quality to survive and it’s something that’s already got the Toon fans lining the bar here in the pub talking.

But one man we think would be a seriously shrewd addition to the side this summer is Spurs’ promising young winger Josh Onomah, who needs to get some first-team football under his belt.

The 20-year-old winger is a real talent and there’s little doubting he could be a real star in years to come. But these years are vital in his development and instead of sitting on the Spurs bench, he needs to be out there playing regularly.

A loan move to Newcastle would be ideal for both parties. Newcastle would be getting a seriously promising player who has superb potential whilst Spurs would be bringing back a player who’d only grow from the experience of playing infront of the St James’ Park faithful.

Newcastle are unlikely to be challenging Spurs at that end of the table either, so it’s unlikely they’ll be risking their end-of-season standing either.

Onomah needs games and Newcastle need quality- this is a move that could really work out for both clubs.

Newcastle fans- would you be keen to see the club move for the talented Onomah? Leave your thoughts down below!
