It’s not been the best of week’s for Arsenal fans.
The Gunners threw away a winning position at home to Manchester City last Saturday before a diabolical display on their return to the Champions League at Borussia Dortmund in midweek.
That has piled the pressure back on Arsene Wenger ahead of today’s trip to Aston Villa – with his side already six points behind league leaders and without a win in four Premier League and Champions League matches.
And to rub salt further in the wounds, former captain Cesc Fabregas did the unthinkable when opening his goal account for Chelsea in midweek.
Fabregas may have only been a Chelsea player for a matter of weeks, but that didn’t stop him patting the badge on his chest – in a move that is sure to enrage Arsenal supporters.
It has also seen Twitter explode with retweets of Fabregas’ famous claim that: “Once a Gunner, always a Gunner.”
Just don’t say things if you don’t mean them Cesc!
