The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to Jurgen Klopp’s latest fitness update on the club’s star forward, Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian has scored 38 goals in 43 games for Liverpool this season, including one against Manchester City last week in their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Man City before he limped off in the second half.
Klopp on Salah’s availability: “We have to see. We have to wait for the reaction tomorrow. Then we’ll make a decision. That’s it.”

Klopp has claimed that the club will have to wait until tomorrow and see the reaction to Salah on whether he’ll play. The Liverpool fans propping our bar up will be praying that their Egyptian wizard can pass a late fitness test as they look to get him back in the side and among the goals for tomorrow. Liverpool lead Pep Guardiola’s City side 3-0 going into the game at The Etihad after goals from Salah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sadio Mane put Liverpool in the driving seat in last Wednesday’s tie.
Away from the Champions League, Salah has scored an incredible 29 goals in 31 Premier League appearances in his debut campaign with the Reds and looks set to break the record for most goals in a single season, although with Harry Kane’s return to fitness, the Tottenham man has claimed he’s ready to win his third successive golden boot, despite being five goals behind Salah with just six games remaining. Our local Kopites will be hoping Salah can get fit and fire the Anfield faithful into the Champions League last four before going on to claim the Premier League’s golden boot.

YOU CAN DO IT SON
If Mo and Robertson don't play, a big chance for Man city to win and go to the semi finals.
