Current total after six weeks is +£86

Last week’s article wasn’t published in time [blame the editor] but I’ll tell you how it went anyway. It was another near miss basically. I bet West Ham and Fulham to draw (which they did) and Tottenham and Villa to draw (which they didn’t).

That Rafael van der Vaart and his supreme talent cost me a good £90. His only redeeming feature is that he’s in my fantasy team so I felt less like putting a hit out on him.

No Premiership this weekend, which is a total crapper. I said last time there was no league football that I don’t consider international football my forte, but here goes…

Portugal vs. Denmark   DRAW 14/5 and Cyprus vs. Norway   AWAY WIN 11/8

This double will get you 8/1.

Portugal is struggling at the moment, even with Carlos Queiroz gone. Denmark on the other hand is starting to look a decent side again. At 14/5 I couldn’t resist a punt on Denmark to get something there. With the talent they’ve got in their side you’d always fancy Portugal to win this game but as I said, the odds make Denmark a good gamble.

Norway has won their first two qualifiers, one of them being against Portugal. Cyprus drew their only game so far, also with Portugal. Surprisingly Norway is not big favourites to win this game. While Cyprus are not the whipping boys they always were, the fact is they’re still Cyprus. Their entire squad is made up of players who play in Cyprus and I haven’t heard of a single one of them. Norway have got the likes of Riise, Carew, Pedersen and Braaten and I’m hoping that’ll be enough to secure a win.

For Christ’s sake give me a bit of luck this weekend!

Good luck gambling and no I don’t reimburse you if you put the bet on and it loses 🙂
