Current total after seven weeks is +£76
Thank Christ we’re back to the Premiership this weekend and I don’t have to put a bet on the stupid international qualifiers. I may as well have taken a tenner out my pocket and wiped my rolf with it.
As you can guess, last week’s bet was a loser. Norway did win in Cyprus but Portugal decided to actually turn up for once and beat Denmark when I wanted a draw.
So to this week, not a lot on offer in terms of easy money. I was tempted to back Wigan getting a draw at Newcastle but decided against it. Wigan constantly screw me over. So this week I’ve gone for….
Everton vs. Liverpool DRAW 9/4 with Wolves vs. West Ham DRAW 11/5
This double will get you just better than 8/1.
The Merseyside derby is difficult to figure out. Both sides have started badly but Everton did win at Birmingham last week. And some of the gloom has lifted at Anfield following the off field drama. So both sides should be in better morale. Both sides are missing a couple of players but the biggest loss for either side will be Dirk Kuyt for Liverpool. Liverpool always do Everton in the derby, but I think with home advantage and coming off the back of a good result the Toffee’s can get a draw.
The two bottom sides, Wolves and West Ham. Wolves are in shocking form, having lost their last four. West Ham hasn’t won an away game in the league for twenty one matches. I don’t see much good football being played and a scrappy draw looks certain to me.
For Christ’s sake give me a bit of luck this weekend!
Good luck gambling and no I don’t reimburse you if you put the bet on and it loses 🙂
