The Premier League GIFs Of The Weekend

Another weekend of non stop Premier League action and our thanks to 101GreatGoals.com for assembling the pick of the weekend’s memorable moments in the lazy man’s favourite format, The GIF.

The Chelsea vs Manchester United game was arguably the biggest game of the season and yet again it seems we’re set up top be discussing ‘off the ball’ nonsense rather then the actual game itself. Let’s kick off with a cracking dive here as Branislav Ivanovich doesn’t foul Young.

And here’s Fernando Torres making the most of some contact before winning a yellow for his efforts from Mark Clattenburg. This referee has had some pretty unsavoury allegations made about language he used. Perhaps now referees will concentrate on the job opposed to being ‘one of the lads.’

Spurs travelled to Southampton where Sandro really did, ‘take one for the team.’

The Merseyside derby wasn’t without incident. And of course that man Luis Suarez was at the centre of things as usual. With a celebration designed to get a rise out of the Everton bench the Liverpool striker made a theatrical dive into the Toffees’ technical area. Let’s hope Luis is still laughing the next time he gets carded for cheating.

Some players aren’t cut out for life as a cheat. As Phil Neville demonstrated with one of the worst dives in living memory of football history. Nevile apologised after the game. Next time leave to to the experts, Phil.
