The Top 5 Free’s That David Moyes Should Look At This Summer

Here are five players with expiring contracts that may be of interest to Everton boss David Moyes.

 Royston Drenthe (Real Madrid)

The left-back come winger has had an inconsistent loan spell at Everton, although he has probably done enough to earn a permanent deal at Goodison Park.

Ten Premier League starts have yielded three goals and five assists, not a bad return at all.

Despite being 24 years old, the Dutchman is still immature, giving the ball away too often, however his attacking prowess usually makes up for this shortfall.

 Mathieu Flamini (AC Milan)

The former Arsenal midfielder has endured an injury nightmare with Milan and has yet to feature this season.

The France international has enjoyed an illustrious career playing for Marseille and Arsenal before heading for the San Siro.

Flamini enjoyed his best football in the Premier League and would be an asset to any club.

 Goran Pandev (Inter)

Pandev has spent almost all of his professional career in Italy, but with his contract with Inter up in the summer, he may give the Premier League a shot while he’s still in his prime.

Has spent this season on loan at Napoli, with the Macedonia international bagging three goals and providing five assists from fourteen starts.

A quality player and the type you could see going to a Premier League club outside of the top four.

 Danijel Pranjic (Bayern Munich)

The Croatia international was linked with a move to Everton back in January, but  Bayern reportedly cancelled the deal due to financial reasons.

With his contract up at the end of the season, Pranjic looks certain to leave The Allianz Arena, possibly paving the way for Everton to bring him in.

A utility player who can play in defence or midfield, Pranjic’s versatility would be priceless, literally.

 Drissa Diakite (OGC Nice)

Diakite has plied his trade with French Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice for the last five years after moving from Algerian side FC Alger back in 2006.

The Mali international was linked with a move to England a few years ago, although this never materialised.

A solid right-back, Moyes could look to bring him in as a replacement for the aging Tony Hibbert.
