The top five things Tottenham need to do to finish in the top four

tottenham.jpgIt”s been an interesting debut season for Andre Villas-Boas at Tottenham and one he hopes will culminate in his side making a return to the Champions League.

Once again the men from North London have impressed during the course of the campaign with some free-flowing attractive football and the likes of Aaron Lennon, Mousa Dembele, Sandro and of course Gareth Bale proving the stand out players.

With just eleven games left to play, Tottenham currently occupy third place in the Premier League, two points clear of fourth placed Chelsea and crucially four points clear of fifth placed Arsenal.

The difference between Tottenham this season and last, is that AVB appears to have instilled some tactical discipline . They haven’t thrown away too many silly points, something Spurs fans have become accustomed to watching their side do down the years and have been able to nick three points in a lot of games you would of thought previously they would have come away with nothing.

This has been in no small part thanks to the magic of Gareth Bale, who has inspired one goal victories over West Bromwich Albion, Newcastle United and West Ham United in recent weeks and earned his team points that are going to prove crucial come the end of the season.

The Lilywhites currently find themselves in an excellent position, but Tottenham fans who are used to heartache and missed opportunites will be desperate for their side to finish above their rivals Arsenal and ensure Champions League football returns to White Hart Lane.

Here we countdown five ways to ensure this is the case, and leave Spurs fans smiling until the end of the campaign.
