Zlatan Ibrahimovic should complete his long awaited move to Manchester United by the end of the week, according to reports from BBC Sport.
With Sweden having been eliminated from Euro 2016, and Zlatan’s subsequent retirement from international football, it now appears as both parties are able to go ahead with the move with the striker stating his desire not to represent Sweden at the Olympics later this year.
The former Barcelona forward is a free agent having left Paris St Germain on the back of four successive Ligue 1 titles, the latter of which he scored a tremendous 50 goals for the Parisian outfit in all competitions.
Ibrahimovic will leave PSG a club legend.
Within his 4 campaigns he helped his side to 4 league titles, 3 Coupe de la Ligue trophies, two Coupe de France’s and three more Trophee des Champions – in total a whopping 12 titles in 4 years.
No wonder Manchester United fans at the Transfer Tavern are drooling at the thought of Ibra at Old Trafford.
