Everton have been performing well under Marco Silva this season as he looks to take them back up the Premier League table and get them back into European competition.
The Toffees currently sit ninth in the league and have been able to put together a few decent results, however, they will face, arguably, their biggest test of the season on Sunday.
Silva’s side travel to Stamford Bridge to meet Chelsea, a side that are yet to taste defeat under Maurizio Sarri in competitive competition.
Everton will be coming off the back of a one-off fixture against Gor Mahia on Tuesday night and Ademola Lookman managed to make an appearance for the side, in what turned out to be a rather convincing performance.
The 21-year-old has been largely used from the substitutes bench in the Premier League so far, however, a number of fans have been calling for him to start against Chelsea on Twitter.
And, you would have to feel that the Everton faithful are right to have the pacy winger start the game at Stamford Bridge.
The youngster impressed during his time at Red Bull Leipzig last season whilst on loan and would have been looking to make an impression under Silva, especially given that the Bundesliga club wanted to bring him back and still hold an interest.
Lookman would certainly give the Chelsea full-back’s something to think about when it comes to a possible counter-attack, whilst his pace would certainly cause them issues.
However, with the options of Bernard and Theo Walcott and the possibility of Richarlison being utilised out wide, it remains to be seen how Silva decides to approach the game against the Blues on Sunday.
