Our Man United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a big transfer window this winter, with many believing it will be a revolving door of transfers.

Alongside many of the first team players contracts expiring, Jose Mourinho has to contend with players looking for regular minutes on the pitch with the World Cup happening this summer in Russia. The disgruntled few may force a move away in order for their own career and motives.

None more so than second fiddle goalkeeper, Sergio Romero. The Argentine, in many of our punter's opinion, would be a guaranteed starter in any other team, but he has one of the worlds best in David De Gea to dislodge. Romero is more often than not used as a cup keeper in the lesser competitions and played a big part in last season's Europa League winning run.

Romero has expressed an interest in leaving United in order to guarantee his spot in the Argentinian squad going to Russia, and our landlord takes a look at two other players that could follow him out of the door...

Matteo Darmian

The Italian has played a handful of games again this season and failed to impress the manager, Mourinho enough in many of them to warrant a starting spot. Instead often using Young or Rojo in replacement of injuries.

On the whole, barring his first season, the Italian full-back hasn't looked at home on the Old Trafford pitch. With a move back to his native land looking likely if he was to move and it would free some funds up for transfers in.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

The Armenian's United career has been up and down over the past 18 months, after a poor start, some tough love 360'd his form and he started to show signs of why United wanted him in the first place. That rolled through to this season, where the midfielder looked like he'd be a pivotal point of the Red Devils season.

Through whatever reason, he's barely made the subs bench in recent months and cut a lonely figure lacking in confidence and form. A move has been widely touted this window with many believing he could be used as a make weight for a bigger transfer in.
