The Daily Mail have news for our punters here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they note that a third star has joined Birmingham City on loan on deadline day.
Italian forward Federico Macheda made the loan move to St. Andrews alongside Tom Thorpe and Tyler Blackett and as our landlord notes, it was fairly clear that he would not be getting any first team action at Old Trafford any time soon.
The forward may have made one of the greatest debuts of any player at the club, but after failing time after time and not exactly impressing on any of his loan spells, it is no shocker that David Moyes felt his immediate future was better spent elsewhere.
One of our punters moves away from the pool table and asks if there were any other United forwards who left the club, and was given the answer that Javier Hernandez was made to stay, despite a host of clubs coming in for him.
There are some top, top players at Old Trafford in the forward ranks and how exactly anyone is supposed to compete with Wayne Rooney and also Robin van Persie is beyond us!
Our landlord makes the point that deadline day was not exactly a thriller yesterday and we were hoping for some more deals to shock and surprise us in the summer months.
Of the three United youngsters who have joined Birmingham on loan, who has the brightest future at Old Trafford?
