This £16.1m-rated flying winger can fire Arsenal into the Champions League next season

Arsenal have had a strange season this year under Arsene Wenger, reaching the FA Cup final yet suffering in both the Champions League and Premier League respectively.

The Gunners fans here in the Tavern have been more frustrated than we have ever seen them this term, with arguments among themselves aplenty over by our pool table, from anything from performances, to Wenger, to transfer policies.

This summer is set to be a huge one for the club, with the futures of manager Wenger, and star men Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez all up in the air.

However, there is once again an expectancy on the club to go into the transfer market and make a real splash, and one man they could target is Ukranian winger Andriy Yarmolenko.

The flying wide-man is one of the more standout out and out wingers on the continent, and he is valued currently at £16.1m on website Transfermarkt.

His ability to play on either wing could be a real boost for the Gunners, and with both Theo Walcott and summer signing Lucas Perez both looking short of what’s required to challenge for the title, Yarmolenko could well be the ideal signing this summer.

If Arsene Wenger is able to pull off this one, then there is little doubt that Arsenal will have a top quality international on their hands to add to an already talented squad.

Gunners fans, what do you think to this? Would you take Yarmolenko? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
