Liverpool made an explosive start to their Premier League campaign this season, but came away with nothing in a 3-3 draw at Watford as common defensive mistakes crept back in.
The Reds have spent big on some players this summer though, with decent sums paid for the likes of Mo Salah and Andrew Robertson.
Our landlord thinks that manager Jurgen Klopp can add even further though, and with a few more summer signings they could well be challenging for the title come the end of May next year.
Goals are always an important part of any team who wants to achieve in the top flight, and our landlord thinks that the Red should make a move and sign Manchester City outcast Wilfried Bony.
Valued at £16.2m by Transfermarkt, his move to City has not quite gone to plan, with a huge transfer fee and hefty wages not helping his cause. Bony however has not helped himself, and some poor displays led to a loan move to Stoke, where he again failed to make any sort of impact.
His next move could be vital if he is to get back to the form he once showed for Swansea, and a move to a giant club like Liverpool could well be an ideal move.
If Bony can rediscover the form which he showed at Swansea, which ultimately earned him his move to City, then he could well prove to be a real steal for Klopp, who has plenty of pacey attacking options and could use a target man like Bony.
Liverpool fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know!
