This £18m-rated Chelsea man needs to seek a move away in January to rescue his career

Chelsea continued their excellent start to the season as they held in form Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at the weekend.

The Blues looked well on course for all three points following Eden Hazard’s opener, before Daniel Sturridge rescued a point for the away side with a stunning finish against his former club.

The Chelsea squad is a squad brimming with talent, and manager Mauro Sarri is already showing just how well they can perform by getting some excellent displays out of the squad already.

However, there are players within the squad who seem to be drowning within the pressures of playing at the Bridge, and one man we feel is coming under this sort of scrutiny is England midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The young midfielder, valued at a hefty £18m by Transfermarkt, simply needs to be playing first team football, and those chances just don’t seem to be forthcoming under Sarri this season for the England man.

Last season he impressed with Crystal Palace, so much so he was included in the World Cup squad by Gareth Southgate.

It would then, be a massive shame to see Loftus-Cheek take a dip in terms of his career, and by the time January comes around, he simply has to be looking for a move somewhere where he will be the main man for the club.

There is no doubting his talent, and it’s about time he was given the chance to show that talent on a regular basis.

Chelsea fans, what do you think? Do you think Loftus-Cheek will leave eventually? Let us know in the comments!
