This £34m-rated left winger could be the ideal replacement for Eden Hazard at Chelsea

Chelsea look to be heading towards the Premier League title under Antonio Conte, and despite Tottenham putting together a late surge, the Blues look likely to hold out.

Their charismatic manager Antonio Conte has brought plenty of joy to the faces of our punters here in the Tavern this season, and our landlord has had plenty of banter and conversations in good spirits with the Chelsea lot.

This summer will give Chelsea a chance to once again flex their muscles in the transfer market, and with plenty of noises about both incomings and outgoings at the club, Conte will need to be on his toes.

One player whose future is always up in the air is Eden Hazard, but we think that Atletico Madrid midfielder Yannick Carrasco could be the ideal replacement if the Belgian does leave.

Carrasco – who is valued by Transfermarkt at £34m – could be an excellent signing for the Blues in direct replacement for Hazard, should he move on.

Carrasco has been excellent in Spain this season, keeping Atletico in the hunt for the Champions League and La Liga.
He is a fine player, and a move to the Premier League would no doubt only serve to improve him, and his new club, further.

Chelsea fans, what do you think? Would Carrasco be a good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
