Manchester City will once again be hoping for a successful summer in the transfer window as Pep Guardiola gets the chance to revamp his squad after one season in charge.
The Spaniard will be keen to add some star names to his team, and use the money and resources available at the Eithad to convince some of the top world’s top stars to sign for his team.
The City fans here in the Transfer Tavern are always ones to look forward to a transfer window, but this one could be extra special for them, with plenty of movement in and out of the club being mentioned in the media.
Our landlord thinks that City could well do with strengthening the middle of the park though, and one player who has caught his and our eyes is Roma hard man Radja Nainggolan.
Valued at £34m by website Transfermarkt, the experienced central midfielder could be the perfect fit for City and slot right into the centre of the park at the Etihad.
The Belgians performances over the summer in Euro 2016 last year were of excellent standard, and he has long been considered one of the top performers in Serie A with his performances for the Rome club.
Guardiola will 100% be seeking acquisitions in the middle of the park, and Nainggolan fits the mould perfectly.
City fans, what do you think to this? Would Nainggolan be a good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
