Watford’s ruthless owner Gino Pozzo sacked Walter Mazzari after his side plummeted down the table last season.

The Hornets who were comfortably battling for a top 10 finish in February, ultimately finished one place above the relegation zone.

Arsenal’s David Ospina has been suggested to be a target of a number of clubs this summer, but still remains Arsene Wenger’s current back up to Petr Cech.
The Colombian who helped Arsenal lift the FA Cup last season is a far better option than Gomes and would be available for a fair deal.
Watford are just up the road from Arsenal and represent a smooth transition for the ‘keeper.
The club should capitalise on his frustrations over a lack of playing time and launch a bid.
