Spurs will be heading into this summer transfer window with an element of fear in their minds that they might well end up losing some of their top stars.
The likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane, and Christian Eriksen are all hot property and no doubt are wanted men across the continent, but there is also the future of Kyle Walker to consider, with the flying right back linked with Man City in recent weeks.
Our landlord has been catching up with some of the Spurs lot here in the Tavern though of late, and despite the back of the mind thoughts about losing players, they are confident in the main that they can replace players.
One player who springs to mind when specifically thinking about Walker is Barcelona and France full back Lucas Digne, who has struggled to cement a regular place in the side at the Nou Camp.
However, Digne is a class act, and has the ability to play in both full back positions if needed, something which could prove invaluable to Mauricio Pochettino with Champions League football on the cards next season.
Digne impressed during his time with PSG, earning himself a move to the Catalan giants. While he might well still be out to prove himself, he will want regular football with the World Cup coming up next season, and Digne could fancy a move to North London.
He would definitely be an adequate signing to replace Walker, and is someone who Spurs should seriously consider.
