Wolves had another great weekend as they battered a Burnley side into submission, finally nicking a goal to take a 1-0 win at Molineux on Sunday.

Nuno Santo's men have been a breath of fresh air in the top flight, with their expansive and exciting football drawing admiring glances from plenty of pundits and coaches alike.

However, January will be a big window for the club, with new players likely to be needed in order to keep momentum going and ensure the squad is strong enough to compete in the tough winter months.

And one man we think could be a superb piece of business for the club is Sheffield United defender Jack O'Connell.

Over the last few years, the former Brentford man has developed into one of the Championship's leading defenders, with Chris Wilder often citing the powerful defender as one of his key men and figures in the Blades' expansive 3-5-2 formation.

O'Connell looks to have all the qualities to become a Premier League player, and his performances for United have earnt him plenty of respect and love from the Bramall Lane crowd.

While Wolves might well go for foreign imports, they could do a lot worse than sign O'Connell, who seems Premier League bound, whether that be with his beloved United, or with a club like Wolves.

Wolves fans, what do you think? Would O'Connell have been a good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
