Crystal Palace are having a miserable time of things this season and look dead certainties to be relegated come the end of the season, despite Roy Hodgson now taking the reigns from the sacked Frank De Boer.
The Eagles simply do not look up to the task of competing in the top flight this term, which comes as a surprise, given some of the talent they possess within the squad and some of the money what has been splashed in recent seasons.
Our landlord thinks one player in particular is a class above the rest at Selhurst Park, and he thinks he should be looking to move on in January and not stick around while Palace scrap it out at the bottom of the table. That player? French midfield ace Yohanne Cabaye.
The instrumental midfield ace has long been a star performer in the top flight, and it was somewhat a surprise when he moved on from Newcastle and ended up with Palace. One club he should consider joining who are long term admirers though are Arsenal.
Manager Arsene Wenger is desperate for another top quality central midfielder, and Cabaye fits the mould of what he could want perfectly. The class midfielder is a wizard with the ball at his feet, and als possesses excellent dead ball ability, something which is always a bonus.
If the Gunners could snap up someone like Cabaye, then it would be a huge boost to the squad at the Emirates. Palace will not want to sell, but Cabaye could wel force a move and end his Eagles nightmare before he ends up with a relegation on his CV.
Arsenal and Palace fans, what do you think to this? Good deal? Let us know in the comments!
