Arsenal rounded off an inconsistent on a high yesterday, as they beat Chelsea to claim the FA Cup and make it seven wins in the competition for manager Arsene Wenger.
The Gunners have been inconsistent for much of the season, but the form of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil has seen them through, and they will no doubt be looking to improve next season and once again qualify for the Champions League.
Gunners fans here in the Tavern have been spending some time with our landlord this weekend having a good old chat about some of the potential signings the club could make this summer, and one area he thinks the club should look to strengthen is up front.
One player who we think could benefit the Gunners is current Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic.
The experienced Croatian has been an important cog once again for the Italian club, and despite the goals of Higuain and the form Dybala, he remains an important part of the squad at Juve.
However, he might well seek regular first team football, and Arsenal could do with some more power and experience up front, and Mandzukic fits that mould perfectly.
His game appears suited to the Premier League, and he would no doubt be an excellent addition should they club decide to make a move for him this summer.
Arsenal fans, what do you think to this? Would Mandzukic be a good signing? Let us know in the comments!
