Crystal Palace's season is going along as many expected, with the odd big result often followed up by a poorer performance by Roy Hodgson's men.

The Eagles will be looking for a strong second half to the season though, and the January window gives the club the chance to make their moves in the market and add some new signings to a squad which could well do with the odd addition.

Indeed, goals are proving to be a problem from the front players for Hodgson, and we at the Tavern think that the club should be keeping tabs on Leeds United star Kemar Roofe, who has been simply superb for the Whites this term.

Roofe, hot off the back of two match winning performances and last minute winners in a row, is loving life at Elland Road, but as yet hasn't signed a new deal with Marcelo Bielsa's men.

The former Oxford man therefore could well be open to a move to the top flight, and although Leeds look like they are well on their way to winning promotion themselves, Roofe might well fancy the move immediately if a club like Palace come knocking.

Quick, strong, and with tireless workrate, Roofe has all the hallmarks of being a quality Premier League striker if given the chance, and he might well jump at the chance of a move to Selhurst Park.

Palace fans, what do you think? Would Roofe fit in with you? Let us know in the comments!
