This Liverpool fan clearly let love take over at Norwich City last weekend!

The Football Transfer Tavern has been home to some of the most unlucky customers.

Way back in 1999, one Manchester United punter missed Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s injury time goals in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich because he got locked in the tavern’s toilets.

An Arsenal regular missed Sylvain Wiltord’s goal at Old Trafford, the one that handed Arsene Wenger’s side the title, because his other half text him saying: “Get home it’s urgent.” She couldn’t find her hairdryer…

We all remember *that* Sergio Aguero goal against Queens Park Rangers on the last day of the season. Well, one Manchester City supporting customer didn’t realise that the Citizens had managed to win the title until he came into the tavern the next day. He had stormed off after Jamie Mackie had put QPR 2-1 in front and, according to him, just went home and sat in the dark, not moving, until he came in here.

I know football is the language of love but lets hope these Liverpool fans don’t miss their beloved side (potentially) lift the Premier League because they were, well, you can see for yourselves…
