Manchester United

This Manchester United man should leave Old Trafford and become the main man for a team in La Liga

Manchester United now have a squad which should, on the surface, be capable of challenging across all fronts, including a good run into the latter stages of the Champions League.

The Red Devils will be hoping that the summer addition of Alexis Sanchez gives them the timely boost needed to really finish the season with somewhat of a flurry, and secure 2nd place behind rivals City in the Premier League while also doing well on the continent.

With such a big squad though, there will always be players who don’t quite get the minutes they feel they should be getting, and our landlord thinks a few of the United squad fit firmly into this category.

One such player who he thinks should be looking to move on in what would be a surprise move is midfielder Juan Mata, who despite being an integral part of the squad, does not seem to be an automatic choice for Mourinho when it comes to the first eleven.

Something which a lot of our punters agree on is the fact that Mata is too good to be benched, and at many other teams, he would indeed be the first name on the teamsheet and a prominent figure playing in a number ten role.

This is why a summer move should not be ruled out, and Mata would no doubt love nothing more than to move back to Spain and become the figurehead for a club challenging at the top end of La Liga. The likes of Valencia, Atletico Madrid, and Sevilla would all represent a good fit for Mata, and give him the chance to show the world just how good he can be.

Man United fans, what do you think? Agree about Mata? Let us know in the comments!
