Tottenham Hotspur find themselves in a very promising position having started their Premier League campaign strongly.
Spurs have already shown that they’re a force to be reckoned with despite failing to bring in any fresh faces during the summer transfer window. Although, it looks as if Mauricio Pochettino still could say goodbye to one of his first team players, as according to Sun Sport, Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has refused to rule out a move for Danny Rose before the European transfer window shuts.
Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has not ruled out a move for Tottenham defender Danny Rose.
The Englishman’s future has been surrounded with doubt right the way through the summer transfer window, and it looks as if he could still seek a move away.
Indeed, the French giants want to add a left-back before the August 31 deadline and the 28-year-old is an option if they fail to land their top target Felipe Luis from Atletico Madrid.
However, Tuchel kept his cards close to his chest as he stated this:
“I will not comment on transfer rumors.
“I will simply say that I came up against Tottenham Hotspur three years ago and it took me three days to work out how best to combat him (Rose).
“I hope that our transfer window is not closed.”
Danny Rose hasn’t been a part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans so far this season as a transfer window exit is looking more and more likely.
But, with Paris Saint-Germain only moving for him as back-up if they fail to secure the services of Ateltico Madrid’s Felipe Luis, he could still stay in North London.
Although, Thomas Tuchel refused to rule out a move for the Englishman and was high in praise during his interview, so a move could still be in the offing.
