Three names emerge on Arsenal’s £100m summer wishlist

Wenger is still the man to take the club forwardArsenal fans have smiles on their faces here in the Football Transfer Tavern, as Metro claim they will have £100 million to spend in the summer.

Arsene Wenger is out of contract, but has claimed he will stay on as manager, meaning that he will have to splash the cash.

The three players the Frenchman has decided to target are Diego Costa, Julian Draxler and Mario Mandzukic – and as our punters note, they will certainly cost a far bit.

Draxler alone has been valued at £37 million by Schalke, and that is a fee that Wenger did not want to pay during the January transfer window.

Now however with Bayern Munich having pulled out of the race for the German international, Arsenal are leading the pack.

Mandzukic is also a potential target, but convincing the Croatian international to leave the Allianz Arena may take some doing. Our punters move away from the pool table and claim that the longest shot of all is Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa, who is being courted by Chelsea.

Not only can Chelsea offer a basically unlimited sum of money for the Spanish international forward; they are also able to offer him the chance to win trophies, something that is not exactly on offer at the Emirates Stadium these days.

Are any of this trio realistic transfer targets for Arsenal this summer or will the Gunners flatter to deceive once again in the market? Let us know your thoughts below.
