The Daily Mail have a sensational claim today involving West Ham United and a potential swoop for three of the Premier League’s most talented players.
Sam Allardyce is planning on a whole new look for his attack for the start of next season and has identified a host of players who he feels could be key in taking his side to the next level.
The former Bolton Wanderers manager has made Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku his number one target and given the quality of the Belgian forward not to mention his recent successful loan spell at West Bromwich Albion, that is little shock to us here in the tavern.
One stumbling block could of course be the return of Jose Mourinho who wants to keep Lukaku at Stamford Bridge and shape him into the next Didier Drogba for the Blues.
Allardyce also wants to take Zaha on loan next season – something that Manchester United may well be willing to consider, at least for the first half of the season depending on who else they bring in this summer. That of course will not go down well with Crystal Palace who were banking on the star being loaned back to them for their first season back in the English top flight.
Not only this but the Hammers manager is also eyeing another Chelsea forward – Demba Ba who they think the Blues could be willing to sell. The Senegalese international has already had a spell with the Hammers in 2011.
Will Allardyce bring any of the three into Upton Park this summer? Rate this rumour below.
