The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to the news that Emre Can has been included in Liverpool’s travel party to their four-day training camp in Marbella. The news has been broken to the fans via the Liverpool website and they’ve shown mixed reactions to the fact that their soon-to-be-leaving 24-year-old will be amongst the rest of the squad.

Emre Can’s Liverpool contract expires this summer and it’s been well reported that the German will be playing his football in Turin next season and he’s got a deal lined up with the Italian champions, Juventus. The fans have accused Can of putting his own future ahead of the team in the last few months, giving the fans a serious reason to slate the midfielder. Yesterday it was revealed that Can hadn’t made the German provisional squad for the World Cup, something that the Liverpool fans described as karma.
The German midfielder could be bowing out o a high this season with the Reds. After playing his part in the Champions League before the contract issues and dubious back injury surfaced, it’s only fitting that Can get his Champions League winners medal if Jurgen Klopp’s men can best Zinedine Zidane’s Los Blancos in ten days time. Can will likely be unavailable for that game as his next game will probably be a pre-season friendly for Juventus, but that won’t stop him from fulfiling his duties as a Liverpool player now, despite what the fans think.

Good, he’s a key reason we’re even in the final, particularly his performances in the qualifier
