The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to a story that’s surfaced in the Daily Express today, linking Christian Eriksen with a £100 million move to PSG in summer. The dynamic Dane has been a key figure at Spurs in his five years at the club and has a special connection on the pitch with Harry Kane and Dele Alli and has a contract that runs until summer 2020.

The Lilywhites keeping our bar afloat have practically laughed off the rumours as they can’t see Daniel Levy letting one of their most influential players leave the club for just £100 million in the current climate of extortionate transfer dealings that we’re in today. With the recent transfer fees for top players being clocked at over £100 million, it seems absurd that one of Europe’s most renowned football businessmen would let one of his star assets go for £100 million, especially given the spending power that we all know PSG possess.
Eriksen has shown his worth internationally and at club level. The 26-year-old fired Denmark to the World Cup in style when he scored a stunning hat-trick against Ireland in the World Cup playoffs and was a key figure as Spurs overcame Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund in their Champions League Group. The Dane has been sky-rocketed into the spotlight this season and there’s no doubting that a number of clubs will be pursuing his signature, it’s just a matter of whether Spurs can keep him happy and keep declining astronomical offers for him.

They potentially have to sell mbappe because of financial fair play so I doubt this is true at all

Coutinho went for €142 mill & you think Levy will let Eriksen go for less than that when he’s a better player

The one player they or anyone else can’t have no matter what the price is our Great Dane.
