Time to go: Allardyce needs to ensure he moves this Everton player on this summer

Everton have had somewhat of a positive turnaround under manager Sam Allardyce following a nightmare start to the season, and look well on their way now to securing a top half finish if they can continue to progress.

The Toffees have simply been brought back into line by Allardyce, with the former Palace and Bolton manager going back to basics and managing to get the best out of some of his more talented players.

With a squad full of ability following a summer of big spending, our landlord here in the Tavern thinks that Allardyce will already be looking to move a few on, and one player he thinks should be in that mix come the summer is Dutch attacking midfielder Davy Klaassen.

The summer signing from Ajax has simply not managed to fit in at Goodison Park thus far, and saw a move to Napoli in January fall through with Klaassen opting to stay at Goodison and fight for his place in the team.

With Allardyce himself commenting on the situation about Klaassen, it’s unlikely he will see much gametime this season, meaning a summer move will surely be on the cards.

Likely to be on big wages and still holding something of a reputation together in his homeland, Everton could still command a decent fee for Klaassen if they decide to move him on this summer, something which is seeming increasingly likely.

Everton fans, what do you think? Good decision to move Klaassen on? Let us know!
