Time to go: Pochettino needs to ensure he moves this Spurs player on this summer

Spurs are well on course to make a big run at a top four finish this season and with Harry Kane still banging in the goals, they are well in the mix to bring Champions League football to the club once more.

The Londoners got a creditable 2-2 draw with Juventus in midweek and will no doubt be hoping they can see the tie out at Wembley in a few weeks time, and manager Pochettino will be confident he can direct his charges to success.

Here in the Tavern, our landlord has been a big fan of Spurs over the years, and that has remained the same this season. However, he also thinks the club has one or two passengers in the squad, and thinks Pochettino could do with moving a couple of players on this summer.

One such player he thinks needs to be shifted is midfielder Moussa Sissoko, who has been somewhat of a flop since making a £30m move from Newcastle 18 months ago.

The French midfielder looks a shadow of the player he was for the Magpies, and despite being a squad regular and getting plenty of minutes this term, he still looks short of the quality required by Spurs if they are to eventually progress and challenge for titles.

Plenty of clubs will still be interested in Sissoko, and Spurs could still command a decent fee for the versatile midfielder if they decide enough is enough for Sissoko.

Spurs fans, what do you think? Good decision to let him move on? Let us know in the comments!
