‘Tite is asking for trouble’ – Plenty of Liverpool fans weren’t happy with Brazil’s latest game

Liverpool fans have been reacting online to the role that Roberto Firmino is currently playing at the World Cup with his native Brazil. Brazil progressed to the last-16 as group winners on Wednesday with a win against Serbia, yet Firmino was nowhere to be seen when the starting eleven was announced.

He, of course, enjoyed a brilliant season for Liverpool this year, having bagged 15 league goals and played a key role alongside the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, with the trio emerging as arguably the Premier League’s best attacking unit.

Naturally, then, you’d expect him to play a similarly important role for his country, but thus far, that hasn’t happened.

Gabriel Jesus has, instead, been Brazil’s first choice forward, and he’s done little so far to prove his worth, having yet to score over in Russia.

Plenty of Liverpool supporters have been talking about this decision online, and it’s fair to say that they’re bemused by the decisions being made by Brazil’s manager Tite. They think he’s making a big mistake not utilising Firmino more.

See what they’ve had to say below…
