The Premier League is all but complete in terms of the main honours after Manchester United took the trophy last week, but the top four and final relegation spot are all still yet to be contested.
With four games remaining Reading and QPR look doomed, with Wigan Athletic and Aston Villa set to battle it out to avoid joining them in the Championship. The top four is all to play for but none of the must win teams feature in this week’s cert bets.
The lunchtime kick off sees West Ham United travel to Manchester City in a nothing game, leaving City to run riot using their pace to attack a remarkably slow Hammers side. Hammers legend Carlos Tevez is sure to line up against his former club and the Argentinian is starting to hit form. Toby fully expects City to comfortably win this one and with Tevez to score more than once.
Elsewhere the teatime kick off in the Premier League is between two sides who will have expected to have had better seasons. Liverpool travel to Newcastle hoping to prove that they are not a one man team as Luis Suarez starts his ten game ban. The Geordies are probably safe now but Alan Pardew will want to get the supporters back on side and so this game will be surprisingly competitive.
Toby The Tipster’s Weekend Picks:
Carlos Tevez to score in both halves vs West Ham United
Newcastle and Liverpool both to score and match end as a draw
