Crystal Palace will be hoping to build this summer after seeing Roy Hodgson rescue their season last time out following Frank De Boer’s miserable start in charge of the club.
The Eagles, backed by a passionate fan base who make plenty of noise here in the Tavern on a regular basis, will be hoping that Hodgson has his eyes on a few targets to further improve the squad over the summer.
Our landlord has been racking his brains trying to come up with some quality additions the club could make, and one player who has been brought up is current Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia, who is valued at only £8.1m by Transfermarkt.
Kodjia endured a frustrating time last season owing to injury, and could well have been the man to make the difference for Villa had he been fit. However, it didn’t happen for the Villans, and now, needing to sell to balance the books, Kodjia could well find himself being one of the players moved on this summer.
Quick, strong, and good in front of goal, Kodjia should well guarantee the goals in the top flight and would be a more than adequate summer signing in the eyes of many a Palace fan.
Eagles fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know!
