The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern aren’t sure where Diego Costa will be next season…
The Spaniard has been frequently involved in the discussions within the pub, with supporters from across the globe chiming in on what they think the Blues should do with the deadly Spaniard.
Despite the speculation, Diego Costa’s situation has been decidedly uncertain up until this point, but now esteemed Chelsea journalist Dan Levene has chimed in on the matter.
A regular writer on all things Chelsea, Levene has revealed what he knows on Twitter, and fans of Diego Costa best look away now. According to Levene, Diego Costa will leave Chelsea this summer – with both the player and the club keen for the deal to go through.
Diego Costa will leave Chelsea this summer: been saying it since January. But with both parties desperate to end it, his value is dropping.

Indeed, whilst Levene isn’t providing any new information as such, he has appeared to confirm a willingness from both parties to source the deal – with that remaining uncertain up until this point.
Of course, with the summer now well underway, Chelsea are beginning to run out of time to get a good deal from their end, with – as Levene says – Costa’s value dropping.
That being said, it would not be wise for Chelsea to jump into this deal without a proper plan, and that includes sourcing a replacement. It has all gone quiet on that front lately, and so the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are growing increasingly concerned.
