Tottenham agree £2 million loan fee to sign England star

Welbeck.jpgTotteham fans in the Football Transfer Tavern were left bitterly disappointed after they were thumped at home to Liverpool.

The North London outfit struggled to cope with the pace of Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling throughout the game and offered very little going forward.

And it now seems that Mauricio Pochettino has decided to look for a few more options in attack with Metro reporting that Manchester United’s Danny Welbeck could soon become a Tottenham player.

Welbeck has been told to find another club by Louis van Gaal and the England international could now be on his way to the capital.

It is believed that a £2 million loan fee has been agreed between the two clubs with Spurs willing to pay all of the striker’s wages.

Newcastle United, Sunderland and Hull City had also been interested in signing the 23-year-old but it is thought that Spurs will prove to be the most appealing for Welbeck.

Tottenham fans. Roberto Soldado has struggled to find form since his move and it is clear that you need some more options in attack but is Welbeck the answer? Let us know your thoughts below.
