But according to The Mirror, Tottenham are being handed the chance to sign Brazilian attacking midfielder Douglas Costa.
The 23-year old currently plays for Shakhtar Donetsk but is reluctant to return to war-torn Ukraine.
In fact he is one of six players refusing to return to the country because of the conflict that continues to rock the eastern European nation.
And now according to reports, his representatives are ready to find him a new club and talks are already said to be underway as to who to contact.
Costa explained his fears over the troubles on his Instagram page alongside a picture of his club’s crest.
He insisted the players were “all run a deadly risk if we are in the region.”
But Costa has insisted that he is happy with the club and does now want to force a move away from the club.
Costa added: “I like the club, the people, the city, but I’m afraid. We want to stay at the club, but we must have risk-free working conditions.”
