The Tottenham fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting some big changes at the club this summer…
With Tottenham’s new stadium currently being built, it is certainly an exciting time to be a fan of the London-based side. However, Mauricio Pochettino can’t afford any mistakes during this crucial period, and importantly, he needs to ensure that his side continues to improve despite the inevitable financial difficulties that the club will endure during this process.
So far, though, the stadium doesn’t seem to be affecting spending at the club, and this latest transfer rumour seems to reinforce that. According to RMC Sport correspondent Mohamed Bouhafsi, Tottenham have made contact over a move for Nice midfielder Jean Michaël Seri, with the Lilywhites seemingly keen on the 25-year-old.

Seri was a regular for Nice last season, making 34 appearances in Ligue 1.
A central midfielder, Seri is a strong passer and is fantastic at controlling the tempo of games, whilst his defensive and tackling ability is also very efficient.
With Tottenham set to try their hand once again in Europe next season, reinforcements are essential – and the midfielder would certainly be a good option.
