There are strong rumours in the Football Transfer Tavern that Galatasaray midfielder Wesley Sneijder wants to move to the Premier League this summer with Chelsea and Tottenham ready to pounce for the Dutch ace.
The speculation has emerged from Mirror Football who suggest that the former Real Madrid star will be available for £12.75 million during the post-season.
A possible reunion with Jose Mourinho, who he successfully worked with at Inter Milan as the Italian giants secured a memorable treble, at Stamford Bridge could be in the pipeline as Mourinho looks to make his mark on the Chelsea team he has inherited.
And Galatasaray president Unal Aysal has now told the Sw6 outfit that the 29-year-old can leave for the right money. He said: “I have been following the rumours about Sneijder, but we have not received an offer for him.
“If an offer in the region of €15million (£12.75m) comes in, we might decide to sell him though.”
The comment could also alert Spurs manger Andre Villas-Boas who is also thought to be interested in a bargain summer move as he looks to bring valuable experience to the side that just missed out on qualification for the Champions League.
