Here at the Football Transfer Tavern we are not shocked at the latest claim coming out of Metro.
The publication claim that Brazilian forward Hulk is considering a move to the Premier League and is targeting London as his ideal destination.
After a disaster move to Russia and Zenit St Petersburg, the forward is looking to re-join a superior division and a hook up with former manager Andre Villas-Boas at White Hart Lane.
Given how well AVB knows the forward, Hulk would relish a move and could well be on Spurs’ radar as the club look for another forward to add to their side.
Should that move fall through, the forward has also considered a move to Stamford Bridge and a link up with Jose Mourinho who is again looking for a forward to add to his Chelsea side.
Mourinho is considering adding firepower to the front line at Chelsea and given Edinson Cavani and Ramadel Falcao are not set to join the club this summer, the Special One has been forced to look elsewhere.
Hulk noted that: “There are lots of clubs interested in me though.
“Zenit is a great club, but if I do go I want to move to a better place, with a better team in a better competition.”
Will Tottenham or Chelsea move for Hulk’s signature this summer? Let us know your thoughts below.
